Game of Thrones superfans had plenty to say on social media about Sunday night’s fourth episode of season seven, from the reunion they’ve been waiting for to that dramatic final showdown.

Warning: spoilers ahead.

There was plenty to talk about during and after Sunday night’s episode of Game of Thrones. There was that heartwarming Stark family reunion, Arya and Brienne’s epic practice duel, Theon and Jon butting heads on the beach, and then, of course, the fiery final moments. It seems even this week’s news of an HBO hack and subsequent episode leak didn’t slow down the number of devoted Game of Thrones fans watching, tweeting, and meme-ing live (though we’ll have to wait and see if the ratings back that inkling up).

Unfortunately, one of our go-to favorite social media accounts to follow for Game of Thrones live reaction, SNL‘s Leslie Jones was out sick Sunday (though she assured her fans she was indeed watching), but there were plenty of other social media hot takes worth noting (and laughing with):

Perhaps the ripest scene for commentary in Sunday night’s episode was the dramatic final minutes in which the Dolthraki army swarmed the Lannister troops and Daenerys soared in to rain destruction on the back of one of her dragons. Between that initial shock of the thunderous invasion, Dany’s dragon spitting deadly fire, Bronn manning the dragonlslaying contraption, Dany trying to help her wounded companion, and Jaime charging the Mother of Dragons, there was enough action packed into the final scene of the show for hours of social media scrolling. Is Jaime dead? Is Bronn dead? Will Dany’s dragon survive his injuries? People weighed in in all corners of the internet.

The preview of next week’s episode didn’t reveal much in terms of answers to our burning questions but it did promise more Dany, more dragons, more Cersei scheming, and, notably no Jaime.
