Game of Thrones: Sky Atlantic promo may have just spoilered us with Arya scene

Game of Thrones season 7 episode 4 won’t drop until Sunday but before then we might have just gotten a sneak peek at a pretty major development in the episode from a British TV promo—and it involves Arya.

Caution: spoilers ahead.

Game of Thrones released official photos Wednesday teasing Sunday’s episode, which, as we now know, will be titled “The Spoils of War” (read into that what you will). But elsewhere in the Game of Thrones-obsessed world, the “spoils” we’re concerned with are of the spoilers variety. British broadcaster Atlantic One has apparently released a promo featuring a brief clip of the upcoming episode. (Thanks to our friends at Winter is Coming for the tip.)

In the nine second scene, we see Arya brandishing her sword (we’re assuming that’s Needle) while Brienne  of Tarth circles her practice fighting (at least, it looks like practice from everyone’s expressions). Arya’s smug expression and swift swordsmanship projects confidence and hard work. And then, of course, is the kicker. The snowy setting immediately gives off a Winterfell vibe in the promo, but it’s not until the end of the scene that we see Sansa, looking on.

Are Arya and Sansa about to have the reunion we’ve all been waiting for? Now that we’ve gotten Bran and Sansa back together (albeit awkwardly) and Sansa back together with Jon, it’s been a regular Stark family party on the show and the idea that fan favorite Arya may be joining in the family fun is extra exciting.

Is this clip floating around an oversight on the part of HBO? The company has been swamped in recent days with news of a serious hack that released at least one Game of Thrones episode script and full episodes of other shows from the network’s collection.

We’ll just have to wait until Sunday to find out how Brienne, Arya, and Sansa came together again. Game of Thrones airs on HBO at 9 p.m. ET.
