16. Tiger Woods vs. an alligator

We may have officially seen the end of Tiger Woods’ golf career after the latest incident off of the course a few months ago, which would signal the tragic end to what was an incredible run. However, maybe we could get him back in our good graces if he pulled off some Happy Gilmore moves to earn his way back into our hearts.

Woods’ DUI back in early June was a horrible look, and a PR nightmare for any athlete when video of the incident was released to the public shortly after it happened. Woods has had an incredible string of bad luck off of the course, between injuries, his romantic issues, and the DUI, and it’s been a drastic fall from the top of the golf world in the early 2000s.

One way he could earn our trust again, and maybe gain his swagger back on the course, would be to get him up against an alligator, a la Chubbs and Happy Gilmore.

We’ve seen plenty of interactions on the course between golfers and alligators on the course. Some have been confident and messed around with the gator, while others run away from the reptile in terror. However, none have been as high profile a star as Woods is/was, and it’d be an incredible television moment that everyone would watch.

If he punk’d a gator on national television, he’d instantly be a star again, and could maybe regain his confidence to play at a high level once more. And, we get to avoid the cliche of him golfing against a tiger, so bonus points for that.
