One year ago, all hell broke loose between Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian.

As fans will recall, Kardashian was seen informing her family that her rapper husband, Kanye West, would be releasing a music video for his hit song, “Famous,” which includes lyrics about making Swift famous and thinking he would one day have sex with her.

“The people that the video’s about, it’s like Amber Rose, Ray J, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Caitlyn ,” she explained, via Us Weekly. “There’s nudity, technically. There’s sheets over everyone.”

As the scene continued, Scott Disick, the former boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian, asked if Swift knew about the song. In turn, Kardashian insisted she did.

Taylor Swift’s rep claimed she never heard ‘Famous’

“A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift. Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated,” Swift’s rep told GQ in a statement.

The rep went on to reveal that Kardashian’s claim against Swift was “not true” and said her client doesn’t understand why the couple won’t just leave her alone.

Kim Kardashian posted Taylor Swift’s conversation with Kanye West on Snapchat

After Swift denied knowing about the exact lyrics of the song, Kardashian exposed her conversation with West online. However, according to Swift, she still was not aware of how she was going to be portrayed on the track.

“Where in the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that bitch’ in front of the entire world,” the post began. “Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted to believe Kanye when he told me that I would love the song.”
