Luke and Leia will reunite in the next Star Wars or so it seems
When it comes to the twins of Star Wars, we love them very much and missed them together in The Force Awakens. But Last Jedi may give us a reunion.
Star Wars news has been pouring in recently and we still have quite some time before Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is released. But the most recent news that has fans buzzing? Well, apparently Lucasfilm isn’t going to continue breaking our hearts.
The latest is that there will, in fact, be a reunion scene between Luke Skywalker and his twin sister Leia, although people like Pablo Hidalgo have denied confirming its existence to sites like io9. Now where the film currently stands, Rey found Luke being moody on an island after he fled when Kylo Ren rose to power.
Leia, always the hero and warrior, was fighting in the resistance once more and could feel when her son murdered her husband (Han Solo) through the Force. Pretty intense stuff, right? Well, hopefully the reunion between Luke and Leia will be a better one than what we got in The Force Awakens between Han and Leia.
Basically C-3PO ruined it. But with Luke and Leia, we have never really seen them as fully realized siblings. The last we saw, they both had just learned that they were brother and sister. Getting to see them interact in a new way will be a wonderful thing for fans to see.
And after all, Leia deserves nice things in her life and that means getting to see her brother once again. I mean, she did have to watch the love of her life go off to try and bring back their son and then feel him die through the force. Can’t she have this one thing?

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi hits theaters this December. It’s going to be a hard one to see with the death of Carrie Fisher still weighing on us but everything for it seems extremely promising.
