Ayesha Curry Announces Lifestyle Brand Partnership With Meyer at IHHS

The housewares powerhouse company, Meyer announced a new partnership with lifestyle celebrity chef Ayesha Curry at IHHS 2017.

Lifestyle celebrity Ayesha Curry announced her new home and housewares line at the 2017 International Home and Housewares Show (IHHS) in Chicago. The new line is in partnership with Meyer. According to Meyer representatives, the Ayesha Curry line should hit store shelves in September.

Ayesha Curry, wife of Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry, is a celebrity chef, author and businesswoman. She often appears on the Rachael Ray Show and has her own show on the Cooking Channel. Through these appearances and her prolific social media channels, Curry is a commanding voice on today’s trends.

The Curry partnership expands Meyer’s impressive space in the housewares industry. Known for the popular Rachael Ray lines, Southern inspired Paula Deen line, the classic Farberware and the gourmet Anolon, to name a few, Meyer understands that cooking is an extension of any family’s life. The company’s celebrity lines and classic lines encompass the belief that cooking creates connections between all of us. From the food preparation to the served meal, these moments are held dear by all who surround the table.

During IHHS, Curry shared her concept for the line. The overall inspiration is boho luxe. With an elevated color palate yet inviting feel, this new line captures an untapped demographic. Like many of Curry’s fans and followers, this customer wants the look of ultimate luxury yet doesn’t want to overspend on those pieces. The curated collections will blend easily but individual pieces will stand alone.

During IHHS, Curry discussed the genesis of her line. The cookware line comes from two areas her family memories of cooking in the kitchen and entertaining with her friends. Curry believes that sitting together around the table is the pathway to better communication. Whether it is a Sunday dinner with family or a girls evening in, the table is the setting to make the memories with those you love.

Many of the expected items in the Ayesha Curry line will reflect her uses in her own kitchen. As seen in her cookbooks and cooking shows, Curry blends a variety of cuisines into her everyday life. Whether it is a cast iron pan that is perfect to fry bacon to fashion forward spatula that looks as great as its usefulness, this new line is a blend of style and function. While all the specifics on the line have yet to be released, the initial excitement is huge.
