Kris Dunn (NBA Basketball Player)
Christopher Michael Dunn is a Connecticut native who plays professional basketball in the NBA. Dunn was in 2016, fifth overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves. While he is considered a rookie, his professional career is off to a good start. During the 2016 NBA summer league, he distinguished himself by putting 27 points on the scoreboard. Unfortunately, he couldn’t fit not finish the summer league due to being diagnosed with a concussion. Thankfully, this did not stop him from playing during the regular season and showed what he could give the team. He’s one of those NBA players that with good coaching and dedication could be one of the best in the league.
VS
Chris Columbus (Filmmaker)
For many of us who grew up in the 90s, American filmmaker Chris Joseph Columbus is the reason we love movies. Columbus is responsible for directing 90’s movies for writing the movie quotes we still say to this day. Some of his most notable directing hit’s are Home Alone 1 & 2, Mrs. Doubtfire and the great Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Before he became one of the best directors in Hollywood, he got his start in the 80’s working with Steven Spielberg as a screenwriter. He wrote 80’s hit films Gremlins and Goonies. Columbus is the reason we say Goonies “never say die” and “Hey, you guys!” It was soon writing those hit movies; he was given his first directing job in the film Adventures in Babysitting. And as they say in Hollywood, “The rest is cinematic history.”
