Chris Craziness: March Madness Round of 64: Chris Cooper vs. Chris Paul

Chris Cooper and Chris Paul make up our next match in the Culturess Chris Craziness Round of 64, but only one can make it through to the Round of 32.

Chris Craziness continues today with another set of eight Chrises (or Christinas, or Christophers, or Krises … so long as they have a name that includes Chris somehow, they were eligible for our bracket). Actor Chris Cooper might not be a name you recognize right off the bat, but he has a rather long resume per IMDb, with recent appearances in both Live by Night and the miniseries 11.22.63. Additionally, he actually has an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor thanks to his work in the movie Adaptation. If you go back even further, you might land on American Beauty as well if you want to recognize him. Will this long career be enough to push him over the edge to win against Chris Paul?

The man they call CP3 (so much so that it’s even his handle on Twitter) has a nice set of accolades in his career in the NBA, per ESPN: Rookie of the Year, four selections to the All-NBA First Team, six selections to the Defensive First Team, and still more there as well. Since the 2011 season, he’s played with the Los Angeles Clippers; before that, he played with the New Orleans Hornets (now the Pelicans). Could he make it to the second round? That  all depends on you.
