Chris Craziness: March Madness Round of 64 – Chris Hardwick vs. Christina Milian

facebooktwitterreddit

As we near the end of the Round of 64 and move to the next stage of Chris Craziness, uber-nerd Chris Hardwick faces early 2000s R&B singer Christina Milian.

Chris Craziness continues and so today brings another duet of Chrises, each with a chance to shine and make it to the inner circle. Of course, we bring in four pairs of people named some variation of Chris each day and let people partake in a Twitter poll to decide which Chris advances. Today, we present two people who hold a special place in this particular 25 year old’s heart, if only because they both have last names that are just so fun to say. Before I speak their praises, allow me to remind everyone that if you’re not following us on Twitter, you’re missing the opportunity to watch Kris Jenner dominate one more aspect of the entertainment world. (She advanced yesterday over Kris Humphries. Rightfully so.)

Upward and onward, here’s our Round 6 picks:

Chris Hardwick (Comedian, Host, Nerd)

Christopher Ryan Hardwick — my man! Here’s a casual reminder that Chris Hardwick’s in his mid-forties, and not some young thirties dude with a spirited voice. And I bring that up only because it boggles my mind that I listen to the Nerdist podcast daily — in which he’s talked about being a child in the ’70s on several occasions — and still can’t believe that he’s like 45. Regardless, Chris Hardwick is a very special star for me, serving as the gateway to most of my fandom exposure. In addition to the Nerdist Podcast, Hardwick also hosts several television shows and does stand-up comedy.

Christina Milian (Singer, Actress)

“Call me, beep me if you want to reach me.”

If those words mean anything to you, then Christina Milian is a part of your childhood and deserves more credit than just being an R&B singer or an actress. Plus, I don’t know how much overlap exists between the Love Don’t Cost a Thing and Kim Possible fandoms. Most recently, she starred in the television special of Rocky Horror Picture Show as Magenta. No matter where her career takes her in the future, Milian remains one of our favorite Latina actresses out there reppin’ it for us all.

While every little thing that we do should be between me and you, Chris Craziness needs your vote.

So vote!
