Chris Craziness: March Madness Round of 64 – Chris Mullin vs. Christina Ricci

facebooktwitterreddit

Chris Craziness continues! This time, we pit a favorite kid actress best known for her role as Wednesday Addams against Olympic Gold medalist Chris Mullin.

As March Madness continues, so does Chris Craziness. Things are starting to heat up as each Chris moves forward bracket by bracket until only one remains. Previous winners include folks like Christopher Nolan, Chris Evans, and Chris Martin. But we’re still early in the game and the tides can shift in either direction. Of course, we expect someone like Chris Evans to get pretty far in the tournament, but the fun begins when there’s a major upset, like the moment Coldplay’s Chris Martin waved goodbye to Guardian of the Galaxy‘s Chris Pratt and advanced to the next round. I guess Starlord still needs to work on some of his techniques.

Now, onto Round 3:

Chris Mullin (Retired Basketball Player, Head Coach)

When you think of some of the best basketball players in the world, Chris Mullin should always be somewhere on your mind. He’s truly one of the greats. As a player, he joined the Golden State Warriors in 1985 as a first round draft. Then, he went on to become a member of the Dream Team, the United States’ Olympic basketball team in 1992. In addition to his win in 1992, he earned a gold medal in 1984, too. Since his 16 years as an NBA player, Mullin join his alma mater, St. John’s, as head coach of the men’s basketball team.

Christina Ricci (Actress)

Christina Ricci has been around forever and I credit her as one of the actresses that formed the foundation of my childhood, and therefore, am a big, big fan. While she’s most famous for appearing as Wednesday Addams in the Addams Family movies, her much less theatrical roles include Casper, Now and Then, That Darn Cat (the remake), and Gold Diggers. And those were all as a child. As an adult, Ricci’s appeared in numerous films and guest starred in a number of television shows, including an Emmy-nominated appearance on Grey’s Anatomy.

But is her cult icon status enough to see her move ahead in Chris Craziness?
