Plus-size fashion retailer, Torrid, launched a new line of clothing inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast live-action remake!
Torrid just launched a new line of clothing especially for plus-size women and it’s inspired by Disney’s latest film Beauty and the Beast. The new movie stars Emma Watson as Belle and the outfits in Torrid’s new collection center around Belle’s wardrobe.
If you want to feel like a princess without looking immature, then these looks are perfect for a day out on the town or maybe even a movie viewing party at home, whatever floats your fancy!

I love this lace trim tank top featuring Belle and the Beast side by side. In my opinion, lace is ultra feminine and pretty. It’s one of my favorite materials to wear. Honestly, I love how this blogger has paired the outfit with fur in honor of the beast.
A Tale As Old As Time
Look at this beautiful embroidered hooded cape! The burgundy color is stunning and if you look closely you’ll see Lumière and Mrs. Potts stitched into the embroidery. There’s a three button closer at the neck to keep the cape firmly in place and the armholes make it very practical.
Torrid has been a longtime provider of trendy and flattering styles for plus size women. I’m happy more and more retailers are listening to us and expanding their offerings. There’s still work to do in regards to negative attitudes towards larger women but I’m still hopeful. This collection may be more playful and fun but it shows that “fangirls” come in all sizes.
