HBO Interactive Fan Experience at SXSW Features Game of Thrones Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner

This year SXSW will have the HBO: The Escape event where you can meet Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner from Game of Thrones.

This year’s SXSW festival has HBO bringing its own interactive experience for fans. HBO: The Escape is being billed as an “escape-the-room style experience” featuring rooms from very well-known HBO shows. Guests of the event get a chance to solve a series of mystery using the clues provided in the area. You must figure out the answer before progressing to the next room. It’s probably a good idea to rewatch the episode of Game of Thrones, VEEP and Silicon Valley before attempting this challenge. If you can solve all clues, you get you chance to take your photo on the Iron Throne, purchase HBO merchandise and try the ultra-exclusive Game of Thrones wines.

Since a limited number of slots are available, SXSW attendees are asked to visit HBOTheEscape.com and reserve a spot today. Slots for HBO: The Escape are awarded on a first come, first served basis. The Iron Throne will be open to the public.

"HBO: The Escape will be located at 800 Congress Ave. in Downtown Austin. It’s open daily from Saturday, March 11 through Monday, March 13 from 10 AM CT / 8 PM CT. It will close early on Saturday, March 11 at 5:15 PM CT."

If that doesn’t get you excited, how does meeting your favorite Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) sound? This year HBO will hold three separate panels for its hit shows. On the program are veteran shows VEEP, Game of Thrones and the new hit animated comedy, Animals. If you are lucky enough to go, you might get to see an exclusive trailer or two.
