Grammy Rehearsal Schedule Leaked?

An image showing a portion of the rehearsal schedule for the 2017 Grammys has been circulating around the internet today.

The Grammys air tonight on CBS, starting at 8pm. The show, which has promised everything from an appearance by Lady Gaga to a Prince tribute, has tried to keep the schedule underwraps. But now there’s word that the schedule may have leaked.

A page from something that claims to be the official rehearsal schedule has gotten out, with not only the tribute line up, but confirmation of who Gaga will be performing with. It’s been circulating around Twitter all morning.

Check it out:

We already know that Morris Day and the Time will be performing as part of the tribute to Prince, including a song titled “Over That Rainbow” which is already available on iTunes.

According to the (possibly) leaked schedule, they’ll be joined by Bruno Mars who will perform “Let’s Go Crazy.”

We’ve also known for a while that Lady Gaga will perform with Metallica whose lead singer, James Hetfield, has been ordered by his doctor not to sing a single note. They’ll (allegedly) be performing Metallica’s single “Moth to Flame” from their 2016 album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.

Also scheduled to perform are A Tribe Called Quest with Anderson .Paak. They’ll perform a medley of “Movin’ Backwards”, “We the People”, and “Award Tour.” Anderson .Paak is also there as a nominee. He’s up for Best New Artist and his Malibu album is nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album.

But if you look closely, near the bottom of the paper is this phrase: Strike Metallica/Set for Beyonce @ A & B. Could the rumors of an appearance by Beyonce be true?

After John Travolta’s “Adele Dazeem” flub at the Oscars a few years ago, it’s amusing to see that a teleprompter read-through is scheduled.

Clearly, the image only shows a portion of tonight’s schedule. The rest of the schedule includes performances by Katy Perry, Adele, The Weeknd with Daft Punk, and a tribute to the Bee Gees featuring Little Big Town, Demi Lovato, Andra Day and Tori Kelly in honor of the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever. In addition to the Prince tribute, George Michael will also be honored during tonight’s ceremony.
