The Hottest Grammys Pre and Post Parties of 2017

It wouldn’t be music’s biggest night without all the dazzling celebrity parties. We’ve got the full list of all the Grammy soirees going on this week!

It’s that time of year again, and we’re getting excited about the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. All sorts of celebrities are roaming around Los Angeles, looking to hit up the hottest of the hot Grammys parties before the big night. The show officially kicks off Sunday, Feb. 12 at 8:00 p.m. ET, so, for now, let’s take a look at where the elite get to party!

All times going forward are PST.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

Esquire is honoring this year’s host (and March issue cover man) James Corden at the Sunset Tower at 7:30 p.m. He’s been a musical hit himself with his “Carpool Karaoke” series on The Late Late Show with James Corden. 

And 12-time Grammy winner Jack White will be honored for his, quote, “commitment to the creative and sonic excellence and ongoing support for the art and craft of recorded music.” This, according to organizers of The Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing party at The Village Recording Studios at 8:30 p.m.

#BillboardLive Grammy Edition – Hotel Café, 4 p.m.

Citi Sound Vault featuring Sting – Hollywood Palladium, 7 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 9

James Corden hosts the 59th Annual Grammy Red Carpet Rollout at 12:45 p.m.

Spotify’s Best New Artist Party kicks off at the Belasco Theater at 7:30 p.m. Performing that night are EDM duo The Chainsmokers and country singer Maren Morris.

Delta Air Lines is hosting singer Halsey at Beauty & Essex at 7:30 p.m. Delta is the official airline sponsor for the Grammys. What’s cooler is this venue isn’t fully complete yet, so partygoers are getting an official sneak peek at the building.

And let’s all be jealous of the 59th Annual Grammy Awards Official Backstage Gift Lounge, kicking off at 11 a.m. at the Staples Center. The lounge features gifts for presenters and performers, offering exclusive gift bags and items worth over $30,000! This event will continue until the 11th.

Friday, Feb. 10

Legendary rocker Tom Petty becomes MusiCares’ Person of the Year during a party at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This exclusive party begins at 5:30 p.m. for the silent auction and cocktails, with the gala dinner at 8 p.m. Some performances include Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, and Stevie Nicks.

And at Quixote Studios at 9 p.m., the Friends ‘N’ Family event. This is one night that’s been in the record books for two decades, and is hosted by all the famous music groups, like Atlas, Concord, Disney, and BMI. Proceeds from the charity bars and Heritage Auctions go to the ACLU of Southern California.

Saturday, Feb. 11

It’s another night of tradition with the Clive Davis and The Recording Academy’s annual Pre-Grammy Gala. This kicks off at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The celebrated music mogul hosts this VIP event for another year, though the secret guest this year is being kept under tight wraps.

Soho Sounds: LA is another members-only party at Clifton’s Republic at 9 p.m. This is the first year the party for Soho House members is taking place, complete with a performance by Grammy nominee Anderson Paak and the Free Nationals. You can follow the action with the hashtag #sohosounds.

Citi, Barclays Center, and Audemars Piguet are hosting the Roc Nation Family party at a private location. The pre-Grammy brunch returns with guests like Big Sean, Common, DJ Khaled, and Demi Lovato set to attend.

Sunday, Feb. 12

It’s the big night, and at the Walt Disney Concert Hall will be the City Gala Fundraiser Honoring Quincy Jones. The longtime record producer and conductor is the true embodiment of music, so it’s a good night to honor him. City Gala also announced that John Travolta will be the key note speaker.

As for the after-parties, Warner Music Group is hosting an event at Milk Studios at 9 p.m. All the nominees are invited to attend, but there’s no confirmed guest list. However, there will be live performances from Gallant, Kelani, and Spencer Ludwig.

GQ is partnering up with YouTube and taking over the Chateau Marmont after the big show. Chance the Rapper is their big headliner this year.

And Metallica isn’t just set to perform with Lady Gaga on Grammy night. They’re also headlining the Citi Sound Vault after-party at the Hollywood Palladium at 10 p.m.
