“Formation” — Khalif Brown, Asheton Hogan, Beyoncé Knowles & Michael L. Williams II, songwriters (Beyoncé)

Beyoncé has had an incredible run with her album Lemonade. Every song was a work of art. “Formation” being the largest hit off the album. She is the presumed winner of Song of the Year.

“Hello” — Adele Adkins & Greg Kurstin, songwriters (Adele)

It’s hard to believe that Adele put out her album 25 in 2015 and did a world tour. While she had many hits on 25, “Hello” was her biggest. Music diva Adele and mother with three hearts, Beyoncé are also scheduled to perform at this year’s Grammy awards.
“I Took A Pill In Ibiza” — Mike Posner, songwriter (Mike Posner)

This hit by Mike Posner was such an unexpected hit. It was due in large part to Seeb Remix. “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” is Posner’s first hot 100 top 10 hit in six years.
“Love Yourself” — Justin Bieber, Benjamin Levin & Ed Sheeran, songwriters (Justin Bieber)

Due to Justin Bieber’s off stage antics, many had already written him off as another cautionary tale of too much success, too soon. Bieber answered back with “Love Yourself, ” and it was an instant hit.
“7 Years” — Lukas Forchhammer, Stefan Forrest, Morten Pilegaard & Morten Ristorp, songwriters (Lukas Graham)
