Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them graphic designers MinaLima took to Orlando for the Celebration of Harry Potter.
The Celebration of Harry Potter in Orlando is a chance for fans to get together. They can geek out over all things Potter. And while some may think the cast was the biggest draw, art nerds were all over the series graphic designers MinaLima.
The London-based design duo, consisting of Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, spent ten years working with Warner Brothers. They did graphic props for the Harry Potter series. Including Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
These guys are the brains behind visual elements like The Daily Prophet, The Quibbler, The New York Ghost, the covers of Hogwarts textbooks like Advanced Potion Making or Hogwarts: A History. You can find more cool props you can find on their website.

For the Celebration, MinaLima packed up their London shop and brought it all to Orlando for an immersive experience. Fans could walk through a mini store with original prints and posters. Their work was on display alongside actual props and prints from the film, plus special limited edition merch only available that weekend!

MinaLima Q&A
During their Q&A, MinaLima talked about the difference between working on Harry Potter films and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. For Fantastic Beasts, there wasn’t much as source material to draw from. As a result, they had to really use their imaginations and their understanding of the characters.
They also gave tips on how to get into graphic design. They touched on what it’s like working in the film industry. Minlima also talked about the hard work that goes into following your dreams. All in all, it was an inspirational event for art and design enthusiasts!
