In a recent interview, Lady Gaga confirms a ‘high-flying’ stunt during Super Bowl LI on Sunday night!

With less than a week to go before Super Bowl LI, Lady Gaga has released details about her highly anticipated half-time performance on Sunday night. On Monday, Gaga spoke to the hosts of Boston’s Mix 104.1 radio show ‘Karson & Kennedy‘ and revealed that she would perform from the stadium roof. And, the stunt was her sister Natali’s idea.

"“My sister was like, ‘I know, let’s suspend you in the air!’” Gaga said, laughing."

Apparently the idea was good enough to impress the NFL and Gaga gained their full approval and support.

"“First of all, there’s a lengthy process to go through, meeting with the NFL and sort of applying and discussing what you would do in the first place. I think that part of how they decide who is going to come and do the halftime show is based on our ideas and what we want to do,” she revealed. “They were really excited about the show we wanted to put on. They’ve been super supportive. They’ve been there every day at the rehearsal space with us and cheering me on as I rehearse. It’s been great.”"

Will Lady Gaga Perform Solo?

Rumours are still swirling and no one is completely sure what songs Gaga will perform or if she’ll have any guest performers singing alongside her. The Karson & Kennedy hosts also asked Gaga if Tony Bennett was a possible collaborator – since the two have worked closely together on a 2014 jazz album. But Gaga stayed mum on the details because she doesn’t want to ruin the surprise.

Personally, I’d love to see Gaga perform with Beyonce on the turf. Look, I know Gaga can handle the halftime show all on her own. But, I still have dreams of seeing these two queens perform their iconic 2009 hits, “Videophone” and “Telephone” live on my tv. Plus, the Super Bowl takes place in Beyonce’s hometown of Houston, TX so it would be a perfect opportunity for Queen Bey to make an appearance. Please, and Thank You!

Super Bowl LI takes place on Sunday night beginning at 6:30 p.m ET.
