Celebrate like a true Potterhead at Canterbury’s Hogwarts Party hosted by Club Chemistry on January 26!
If you’re a muggle in the UK, this month Club Chemistry is hosting a Harry Potter – themed bash on the night of January 26! Club Chemistry, a popular nightlife spot, will “transfigure” into the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
All potterheads in attendance are asked to dress in their favorite Hogwarts gear or as a favorite character from the series.
If you want to dress as Harry, the club is giving out the boy wizard’s iconic glasses, along with a wand and Gryffindor House tie. If you’re feeling more ambitious, the club is also giving way Slytherin House ties as well. We love some house rivalry and if you’re feeling bold, maybe you’d enter a friendly wizard duel.

Once inside, guests can enjoy Quidditch pong, butterbeer and shots from ‘The Goblet of Fire’. Now that’s a party to rival the tame ‘Yule Ball’ we remember from Harry, Hermione and Ron’s fourth year. There was jealously, girls crying, awkward dancing, and disappointment all around. Yep, that pretty much sums up every miserable junior high dance.

Last Year’s Bash
Last September, Club Chemistry hosted the first Harry Potter – themed event and it was a huge success. The club’s spokesperson proudly gushed about what to expect during the night at Hogwarts bash:
"“Enter through platform 9 3/4, pick your house out of the sorting hat, collect your house tie, magic wand and free potter spectacles then go bust out your best muggle moves on the dance-floor. Expect a mix of the biggest Indie, Rock, Pop Punk and Alternative Anthems all mixed in with classic hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and the Harry Potter movies.”"
If you want an invite to this potter party, you better get your tickets as soon as you can. Harry Potter is incredibly popular and we’re sure the event will be packed. Entry into the club will cost £3 before 11:00 p.m. and £5 before midnight.
