Watch this new high-octane teaser trailer starring Harry Potter alum Rupert Grint doing some very naughty things in his latest project, “Snatch”.
Since wrapping up the Harry Potter series in 2011, Rupert Grint has noticeably been out of the spotlight unlike his co-stars Daniel Radcliffe “Harry” and Emma Watson “Hermione”. Rupert has had a few movie roles, done a couple plays and made appearances for Harry Potter related events but many of us have not seen our lovable ginger-haired man in ages! But, thankfully that’s about to change!
Now, Rupert is making a comeback with a new crime series called ‘Snatch’. This series is actually based on Guy Ritchie’s full-length film ‘Snatch’ which was released in 2000. The film version was very popular and known for its wit, profane banter, action and violence. So, the kids will have to sit this one out because the series will be just as racy.
Rupert is the executive producer and stars as “Charlie Cavendish”. He is joined by Luke Pasqualino (Battlestar Gallactica: Blood & Chrome), Dougray Scott (Fear The Walking Dead, Hemlock Grove), Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Lucien Laviscourt (The Bye Bye Man), Marc Warren (Wanted, Hustle) and many more!
Here’s the synopsis according to IMDb,
"A group of up-and-coming hustlers stumble upon a truck-load of stolen gold bullion are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime."
Watch the teaser trailer and let us known what you think. Please be advised the trailer is for mature audiences.
Taking movies and flipping them into TV series seems to be the trend these days and we’re not mad about it! Imagine if the ‘Harry Potter’ series was re-imagined as a TV series, would you watch? We would as long as Rupert, Emma and Daniel are apart of it of course!
