We have the full list of Producers Guild Awards Nominations for Television and Digital Series. Two new shows are looking to dethrone Game of Thrones.

Yesterday The Producers Guild of America unveiled awards nominations in its TV categories. The PGA film nominations are scheduled to be announced Jan 10. It’s no surprise we are seeing many of last year’s winners from have been nominated this year. HBO shows like Game Of Thrones, Real Sports With Bryant GumbelLast Week Tonight With John Oliver and Sesame Street are all looking to repeat.

The most contentious and most talked about television category is, of course, the drama. Most would assume 2016 winner Game of Thrones would take away the award again, but I say not so fast. Look for newcomers Westworld (HBO) and Stranger Things (Netflix) to pull the upset in the Norman Felton Award for television drama. I would even go as far as to say Westworld will come out on top. Granted, Game of Thrones season six is arguably one of the best seasons in the entire series, but Westworld production value took it to another level. So much so that George R.R. Martin took to his blog to rave how much he loves the show. He even floated the idea of doing a Game of Thrones crossover. I will concede Westworld did have a few production setbacks early and at one point production was temporary shutdown but watching the show you would never have known. For HBO this is a win-win situation.

Just when you think we have run out of awards to give Lin-Manuel Miranda, we are proved wrong. His PBS special Hamilton’s America received a nomination for Outstanding Producer of Non-Fiction Television.

At the PGA ceremony, the Guild will present Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television to James L. Brooks. Producer Tom Rothman will be awarded the Milestone Award and Irwin Winkler will receive the David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures. Multi Oscar-nominated producer Megan Ellison take home the Visionary Award. Taking home the Stanley Kramer Award is the indie movie, Loving.
