Our list would not be complete without having a LEGO set. The fact the LEGO set is Star Wars themed is just a bonus. It would only be appropriate that the hottest LEGO set would have to do with the highly anticipated movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The movie is set to hit theaters in December and is set to break box office numbers. Mark my words.  2. Xbox One S

I’m sure you are rolling your eyes and saying to yourself another game console. Hard pass but hear us out. If your Xbox is more than four years old its time to change it out. Video games technology is surpassing the old Xbox’s. Microsoft response to this conundrum is the Xbox One S. The game console is almost half the size of the original Xbox One consoles; it also plays 4K video. This is great news if you plan to stream Netflix and other media serving streaming networks from Microsoft’s marketplace. Xbox One S features High Dynamic Range technology, which brings brighter colors in games and videos. Microsoft has redesigned Xbox One wireless controller and has Bluetooth capabilities. Black Friday was the best time to get your hot little hands on this gem. If you didn’t, you could still get a Xbox One S at Gamestop for 299.00.

1. Hatchimals-Hatching Egg – Interactive Creature

It’s no surprise we chose the Hatchimals-Hatching Egg as our number one Christmas toy of 2016. It’s a real-life Tamagotchi your child will want to own. These eggs actually hatch! Kids must coax the animal out by tapping or stroking its shell. The shell lights up and makes sounds. After the Hatchimal is out, you can teach it to walk and talk. The only problem with this toy is every retailer is completely sold out. You can purchase one from 3rd market vendors for over 200 dollars. This is a problem considering its regular retail price is 59.99. The cheapest one we were able to find was from Montgomery Ward (who knew they still existed) for 99.95.

Hope we could help make your toy shopping a little bit easier. Check back with us for more of our list of “Must-Haves” Christmas gifts of 2016.
