We round up the best of DragonCon 2016 cosplay from this year’s shindig in Atlanta

Atlanta’s popular science fiction and fantasy convention DragonCon celebrated its 30th birthday this year. The convention, which takes place over Labor Day weekend annually, is known for its party atmosphere and outstanding cosplay.

From Metroid to Stranger Things, this year’s attendees did not disappoint and sported some stunning cosplay.  Check out the photos below and start planning your costumes for next year!

Nintendo’s sci-fi, action game Metroid also turned 30 this year and fans couldn’t wait to celebrate at DragonCon.

Borderlands fans will surely recognize this stunning Nisha cosplay. It’s pretty perfect.

Of course, Star Wars fans managed to find plenty of ways to switch up the classics and make their cosplay their own. Like this femme Grand Admiral Thrawn.
