Potterheads shared the joy at midnight parties celebrating the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’s script book across the world!
On a big weekend for Harry Potter fans who stayed up late to party like it’s 2007, bookstores and other venues held midnight release parties to celebrate Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – Parts One & Two. Party activities, costumes, and then at the stroke of midnight, distribution to delighted fans – what more could you ask for? Maybe a bit of coffee to stay up even later to read the books immediately.

You might wonder how the turnout was 9 years later, well no need to worry if the midnight release parties were worth the bother…
A very book adoring, sharing Ravenclaw with a terrific handmade house dress.

Muggle Walls on the subject of what Harry Potter Means To You were well used. A terrific theme of togetherness in many of the writing snippets is a lovely reminder of good in the world.
Excellent costumes were evident at parties.

A creepy, but excellent idea for a game. No worries about the little ones though, I think that bit on the left is a lower down for easy access without stilts.

Last but not least, yes, we should all appreciate the lengths booksellers and other pro-Potter reading businesses went to encourage the hype and the fun!
