Can you go to Planet Fitness on New Year’s Day?
It’s New Year’s Day, the first day of your resolution to be a healthier, happier you. To eat better, work out more, worry less, and be a bit better every day. You’re already thinking about skipping the gym today, aren’t you? You’re not even a few hours into your resolutions and you’re already whiffing!
Come on, you can do this! Just remind yourself what Arnold Schwarzzenager always said, “EAUGH!” I’m sure that’s going to motivate someone today. Listen, it’s hard to get started when it comes to going to the gym, but places like Planet Fitness make it a bit easier.
You know, as easy as moving several hundred pounds with only portions of your body at a time can be. So if you’re feeling properly motivated by this, and let’s be honest, why would you be – this is the worst pep talk since Steve Jobs went to his kid’s piano recital.
But if you’re still interested in going to Planet Fitness, you may want to know if it’s even open on New Year’s Day, after all, it is a Federal Holiday.
Is Planet Fitness open today? (Jan. 1, 2023)
Well, it’s a complicated answer, frankly. Yes, many Planet Fitness locations will be open on New Year’s Day, but they’ll be operating on reduced hours. That means that the 24-hour locations will be more like a 10-hour locations for the day.
There are even some Planet Fitness branches that will be closed altogether, so it’s important to remember that if you’re driving there in the morning. Your nearest location may not be open. That said, everything will return to normal operating hours on Jan. 2, 2023. So if your location is closed or you don’t have time to make it to yours during the adjusted hours, you’ll be able to on Monday.
