McDonald’s isn’t always your first choice, especially on Thanksgiving Day but the heart wants what the heart wants.

For most of us,  McDonald’s is either something we grab for lunch or dinner or just when we’re craving something. There is just something so comforting about grabbing some fries from McDonald’s or getting your favorite meal to enjoy when you’re at home.

However, there are a few other offerings at McDonald’s that might make you want to head there on Thanksgiving Day. First is obviously the $1.00 any-size soft drinks which is honestly the biggest steal out there. You can’t find a large drink anywhere else that cheap. Then there are the coffee drinks, pies, and as I previously mentioned, the fries.

Regardless of what you’re craving or how your Thanksgiving Day turns out, you might want to know if McDonald’s is open or not.

Is McDonald’s open or closed on Thanksgiving Day 2022?

No need to worry about this one as McDonald’s is open on Thanksgiving Day this year. As you might be getting tired of hearing me say it, you’ll need to check the hours for your local location.

According to The Pioneer Woman website, the hours are going to depend on the location and the franchise owner of the store. However, if you’re in a pinch on Thanksgiving such as if you burnt the turkey or you just plain ran out of food,  McDonald’s should have you covered as long as you’re there before they close.

Of course, there are plenty of options at the fast-food chain but probably not anything you’d actually have during a regular Thanksgiving feast. Even so, it’s always nice to know that if something does happen, the golden arches are there to make sure you’ll have something to eat even if it’s Turkey Day. Plus it’s always nice to know that there will be something for the picky eater at your table, too.
