The first round of Grammy performers have been announced

The 64th Grammy Awards are coming in less than a month, and the first round of performers have been announced. After moving to Las Vegas due to the rising amount of COVID-19 cases and being pushed to April, the date is finally near. With Trevor Noah returning as host for his second year, it will be the first award show in months where musicians of all genres will come together. These are the first round of Grammy performers that have been announced.

Performers for the 64th Grammy Awards

While not all performers have been announced as of yet, fans can expect to see artists like Jon Batiste (leading with 11 nominations), and other leading nominees such as Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, and H.E.R make appearances.

The nights’ performers currently include Billie Eilish, who is set to return for the third year in a row. She currently holds two consecutive Record of the Year wins and holds seven nominations. Lil Nas X will return for the second year after performing for the first time in 2020 and has five nominations. Brandi Carlile will return for the third year and has six nominations. Olivia Rodrigo, who holds seven nominations. Her nominations include Record of the Year (“Drivers License”), Album of the Year (“Sour”), Song of the Year (“Drivers License”), and Best New Artist.  It will be her first time making an appearance and performance. Country duo Brothers Osborne will also be performing.

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS. The show will also be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
