Suicide Squad member: Richard “Dick” Hertz / Blackguard

Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson will be making his superhero debut in the role of  Blackguard. We’ve seen so little of the character in the promotion, sometimes you have to really think about whether he’s in the movie a lot. He does get toilet paper on his orange Crocs so that’s memorable at least?

Blackguard was a member of the 1,000 Operatives from Booster Gold #2 in 1986. Though he clashed with the hero from the future, he ended up being saved in thanks to Booster Gold. The former operative reformed and worked with Green Lantern/Guy Gardner.

We don’t really see him in any of the big battles in the trailer. I would be surprised if he made it off the helicopter to their seemingly first mission. (I mean just look how far back he is in the poster!) Davidson likely spent a week filming and went back to work on SNL.

Prediction: Dead
