The Christmas Cottage

Cast: Merritt Patterson, Steve Lund, Brittney Wilson and Victor Zinck

Year: 2017

Lacey (Merritt Patterson) has a huge deal at work that she needs to focus on, but she’s also the maid of honor in her friend Ava’s (Brittney Wilson) wedding so she tells her boyfriend Roger (Vicor Zinck) that she can balance it all out. The wedding is on Christmas Eve and the sales pitch is scheduled after the holiday, so it’s a lot to manage.

While she’s helping with the wedding she runs into Ean (Steve Lund), her old boyfriend and someone who knows her better than anyone else. Together they have to get the honeymoon cottage ready for the newlyweds and in the process the cottage’s magic seems to rekindle their feelings for each other. Unlike Roger, Ean makes Lacey laugh and he’s easy to be around. She’s remembering the person she was when she was younger and she likes it.

Lacey discovers that she’s turning into someone she’s not, but she’s also afraid of letting people down. Ean has always maintained his feelings for Lacey and even though she comes alive when she’s with him, she shoots him down. Will the magic of the Christmas cottage be enough to pull these two friends back together?
