Time for You to Come Home for Christmas

Cast: Alison Sweeney, Lucas Bryant, Kiefer O’Reilly

Year: 2019

Blake Shelton served as the executive producer for Time for You to Come Home for Christmas, a charming tale that serves as a follow up to his 2018 film Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas, a movie based on Shelton’s song “Time for Me to Come Home” and his mother Dorothy Shackleford’s book by the same name.

Alison Sweeney is Katherine, a single mother reeling from the loss of her husband. She and her son Will (Kiefer O’Reilly) head to Virginia to spend the holidays with her family when they meet Jack (Lucas Bryant) on the train. Jack is a guitar player who will be performing with a band in Katherine’s hometown.

As everyone gets ready for the holidays, Katherine and Jack keep running into each other and he reveals he’s trying to solve a bit of a mystery from his past. Thanks to Katherine’s advice, he gets closer to the answers he’s been searching for and it ends up bringing them closer together.

Part of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Miracles of Christmas programming, Time for You to Come Home for Christmas is one of those special holiday movies that reminds you of the true purpose of the season and offers hope for anyone out there who struggles with the loss of a loved one.
