As the cold weather sets in during February, it’s usually a perfect time to settle in, snuggle up with a cozy blanket, and read a good book. And this year, that statement may be more true than ever before – after all, snowstorms and snow days suddenly seem a lot less exciting when we’re already never leaving the house. (And in fact, probably mean that your daily walk is about to get shut down till someone clears the sidewalks.)

Luckily, the one thing it does appear we can count on in 2021 is that exciting new YA book titles are dropping constantly – partly because so many novels found their publication dates pushed back or rescheduled in the first months of the coronavirus pandemic. Now that they’re beginning to arrive, it’s an embarrassment of reading riches.

No matter what kind of book you’re looking for, the new YA titles hitting the shelves this month can provide. Whether it’s the next installment in a favorite series (Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Silver Flames, for example) or a buzzy book that it seems everyone is talking about (Namina Forna’s The Gilded Ones), there’s sure to be something to pique your interest on this list.

Here are  our picks for 11 of the biggest YA book releases hitting shelves this month.
