7 January romances to fall in love with this winter season

The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon
Rachel Lynn Solomon‘s The Ex Talk, sees public radio get its due with two leads that can’t stand each other. Shay Goldstein has been in the business for nearly a decade, she’s got the chops and the experience Dominic Yun lacks and yet he thinks a master’s in journalism means he knows the ins and outs of radio.
Frustrated with her colleague, Shay tries to focus on what’s most important, saving the Seattle radio station she loves dearly. Her first proposal? A show called Ex Talk where two exes give relationship advice live on air to listeners. What she didn’t expect is to get paired with Dominic. Sure, they’ve got the energy of feuding exes, but they’ve never actually dated and pretending that they have doesn’t sit right with either of them. But it’s that or the unemployment line, so the two agree.
When Ex Talk skyrockets to the top of the podcast charts and the show gains a fervent following, everything seems like it’s looking up. There’s just a couple of things Shay and Dominic can’t quite shake. First, if they get caught lying about their lack of a romantic history, their credibility and their careers are kaput. Second, the show has brought them closer, so close that they’re starting to fall for each other which is a major problem considering they’re supposed to be the kind of exes that are never, ever, ever getting back together.
The Ex Talk will be available January 26 in print, audio, and e-book format.
