Relistening to the score of the Harry Potter series is a beautiful way for fans to connect and Jamie Parker, who brought the boy who lives to life on Broadway, played when Ginny Kissed Harry!
Jamie Parker brought Harry to life on the West End and Broadway in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Now, he’s reminding us of the beautiful score that was a part of the series by playing his own rendition of “When Ginny Kissed Harry” from the score.
The song, originally created by Nicholas Hooper, was featured in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and is truly one of the most beautiful pieces in the score. (With the exception of “Harry & Hermione”, my own personal favorite.)
Parker’s rendition is all himself and is very fun to watch!
But this brings us into another conversation about how the actors who brought the series to life constantly go back to their roles. There are plenty of people in the Harry Potter series as well as now part of the theatre casts. And they’re all trying to be there for fans when it is rough out there.
Plus, the score from the series is so beautiful, it just makes sense that people keep coming back to it and watching as the stars do so? Well, that’s just fun! It also helps that Jamie Parker is a great musician and singer in general so he can bring fans joy.
So, thank you to Jamie Parker for sharing this video and hopefully, there will be more from him on his YouTube channel! Does anyone have any suggestions?
