Dreamcasting: Who should play the lead in the live-action series for Marvel’s Silk?

If you’re a fan of K-pop, you’ve more than likely heard of Krystal Jung. She’s the lead singer of South Korean girl group f(x). American born, but based in South Korea, Jung is a vet in the industry, along with her sister Jessica Jung. They are some of Korea’s most well-known celebrities.

Since nabbing her first gig in 2002, Jung has become a staple in South Korea’s entertainment industry. A singer, dancer, and well-versed actress, Krystal is the perfect person to play Silk. Starring in a number of films and series, from dramas to comedies, has prepared her for any role thrown her way. She has yet to play a superhero, but there’s no doubt she’ll own the role.

For Player, she learned how to ride a motorcycle to perform her own stunts. Known for her wholesome innocent looks, it’s time for Krystal to ditch the goody act and lace-up in a spider suit to take out the bad guys!

Fans have expressed that they want Krystal as the superheroine, but her being cast as Silk is a long shot, as she’s currently starring in the series Graduation Season and Search.  She’s also got the upcoming movies Aaebigyuhwan, Sweet and Sour, and Unexpected Love to worry about. Talk about booked and busy!
