It’s been a complicated time for Harry Potter fans but our love continues on because of the cast that helped to bring our favorite characters to life and their dedication to fans.

Right now, the cast of the Harry Potter series has been very vocal. With Rowling’s comments and everyone turning to the cast for their takes, they’ve turn towards their fans and listened and supported the trans community and those fans hurt by what Rowling had to say.

So, for many, our love of the cast will never die because we see them as the heroes they helped portray on screen. So many members of this cast are not even on social media but made their points heard because they knew it was the right thing to do.

That’s what this series is about after all, isn’t it? The right thing to do? The cast standing up and fighting for those fans who were hurt by her words is fitting because, to be honest, it’s what the characters they played would do as well.

Harry Potter wouldn’t stand by and watch someone get hurt, not after he saw his mistake in how people around him treated Hermione or how Dudley treated him, and so he wouldn’t just let an entire community of people be attacked by someone else. Hermione Granger most definitely wouldn’t either and so on and so forth. So that love we have for these characters, in my opinion, is still okay because the actors who brought them to life are making it clear where they stand and sometimes that’s almost more important than Rowling and her opinions.
