Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD returns to action tonight with the crew back in 1931 Manhattan. Don’t miss watching it live, stream it online!

It’s been almost a year since new episodes of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD have graced our television screens.

And it’s a bit of a bittersweet return, as this seventh season will be the show’s final run. Which is kind of a bummer. Marvel TV lasted much longer than any of us probably anticipated. But in such short order over the last year or so, Marvel put the axe to Agents of SHIELD, Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger, and Marvel’s Runaways, among others.

Which basically just leaves us the Disney+ shows – all of which have since been delayed due to a pandemic. Which is even more of a bummer.

Alas! But, we still have an entire season of SHIELD ahead of us, so let’s not get too bogged down in our finale feels just yet.

In case you missed it, here’s the synopsis for tonight’s season premiere:

"“Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are thrust backward in time and stranded in 1931 New York City. With the all-new Zephyr set to time-jump at any moment, the team must hurry to find out exactly what happened. If they fail, it would mean disaster for the past, present and future of the world.”"

How long do we think the team will stay in 1931 Manhattan? Long enough to run into Agent Sousa/potentially Peggy Carter herself? (Hey, I can hope!)

And where will the rest of this season lead us? The Zephyr should be able to time jump in a matter of moments, so pretty much the whole world is theirs. It sounds like it really could be another time heist, a la Avengers: Endgame‘s middle section.

Which honestly would be a really fun way to bring in old, familiar faces, like Grant Ward, Robbie Reyes, and Antoine Triplett. Here’s hoping Agents of SHIELD can pull it all off one last time.
