Hulu will drop the first three episodes of Mrs. America on April 15. Here’s everything you need to know to stream Cate Blanchett and Rose Byrne’s new show.

Mrs. America, part of the new FX on Hulu package, heralds one of the most amazing casts of women ever seen and follows the war between second wave feminists’ push for liberation and their opposition led by conservative homemaker Phyllis Schlafly (Cate Blanchett).

Here’s the official synopsis from FX:

"Mrs. America tells the story of the movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), and the unexpected backlash… Through the eyes of the women of the era…the series explores how one of the toughest battlegrounds in the culture wars of the 70s helped give rise to the Moral Majority and forever shifted the political landscape."

Hulu will drop the first three episodes at once on April 15, then release the remaining episodes once a week for the rest of the season. Here’s a look at the official trailer for Mrs. America:

About that cast–Cate Blanchett stars (and executive produces) as controversial conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly alongside one of the most jampacked casts of talented actresses ever seen on television.

It really is an embarrassment of riches:  Rose Byrne as Gloria Steinem, Uzo Aduba as Shirley Chisholm, and character actress Margo Martindale as Bella Abzug to name just a few of today’s most iconic women playing some of modern history’s most iconic women.

The first three episodes, “Phyllis,” “Gloria,” and “Shirley,” (named after Schlafly, Steinem, and Chisholm respectively) focus on the political push and pull as second wave feminists fight for legal equality (in the form of Alice Paul’s Equal Rights Amendment) against a rising conservative backlash.

Regardless of your political affiliation, most people simply do not know much about women’s history. Mrs. America promises to change that bringing a fresh perspective and context to conversations that have been around for nearly a century, especially as the fight to ratify the ERA continues.

Here’s how you can watch the series premiere of Mrs. America:

"Date:  Wednesday, April 15Start Time:  12 a.m. ESTEpisodes: “Phyllis,” “Gloria,” and “Shirley”TV Channel: FX on HuluLive Stream: Stream exclusively on Hulu."
