Things are mostly back to normal at Scarlet, so tonight, we check in on the personal lives of the ladies on The Bold Type.

Kicking off season four of The Bold Type, things were a little chaotic. Well, a lot chaotic. The short version? Jacqueline got fired, not one person was happy about it, and Jane, Sutton, and Kat turned into a seal team that steals magazines.

In the end, though, things were set right. Jacqueline is steering the ship once more, Patrick is gone — which might prove slightly problematic tonight, as Scarlet is now solely a digital publication — and Kat, Jane, and Sutton managed to keep their jobs, despite their crime being caught on security footage.

With things pretty well squared away professionally, this week looks to focus on what’s happening in Kat, Sutton and Jane’s personal life.

Richard Hunter, are you about to propose in the board room?

This would be a huge step for Suttard, especially considering he’s about to head to San Fransisco on “sabbatical.” But here’s the thing: We’ve already been through one Suttard break-up. If this proposal is real, it needs to be real real, San Fransisco be damned. We can’t go through that again, and a broken engagement would only be more heartbreaking.

Then there’s Jane and Ryan. He may be officially back, but their foundation is still a bit shaky. With Jane headed in for a mammogram, will she let Ryan in on what’s going on with her? He did help her with the egg-freezing process, and proved during that that he wanted to be as involved as possible.

Adena is the only one who’s unattached at this point, and with no Adena sighting yet this season, it’s unclear how they’re both handling things. Though Kat musing about what her life would be if she hadn’t met Adena is illuminating.
