Alpha’s campaign against the communities seems to be working on The Walking Dead, but she may be underestimating her opponents.

With just a few episodes left until the mid-season hiatus, the conflicts are escalating on The Walking Dead. Alpha continues to squeeze the communities, and there’s nothing they can do about it because she has such a large army of the undead. Her tactics are working. There’s illness spreading at Alexandria, and Hilltop is still recovering from the Whisperers knocking over that tree.

And now that Negan has crossed the border and come face to face with Beta, he could give Alpha all the information she needs to find even more ways to cause the implosion of the communities.

But Carol always has a plan. In tonight’s episode, “Bonds,” Carol is going to do what she does best and try to take away Alpha’s power in a way that she might not expect. People always underestimate Carol, and that’s been one of the biggest advantages that she has. Is Alpha underestimating her too?

The synopsis for tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead doesn’t give many hints about what’s coming, but it’s clear from the opening minutes that Carol has a plan to deal with Alpha that involves taking away her biggest asset:
