It may be Halloween, but The Good Place probably won’t stoop to anything like a Halloween Heist.
That won’t stop some spooky things from happening, like creating division among our ranks. Possibly even more so than when they weren’t sure if Michael was Michael or Vicky in a Michael suit.
In case you missed it, the official synopsis for this week’s episode:
"“One of the new residents creates a division in the ranks.”"
Now, does that “division in the ranks” mean a division amongst Team Cockroach/Soul Squad? Or does that mean a division between Chidi, Simone, Brent, and John?
What should we expect in tonight’s episode? Honestly your guess is as good as mine. Shawn knows that Michael and Jason just got away with real Janet and blew up the tunnel from the Medium Place to the Bad Place.
Will he come looking for his Bad Janet? Don’t they have one of those door portals that can open anywhere? Or did the Judge confiscate those? You know Shawn will find a way to break back in.
Would he go to the Judge and rat on Michael and the team? He’d have to turn himself in as well, but if it gave him an advantage in the next reset, I could see him doing it.
Except that might also backfire on him. Because if there’s a big division this episode that puts the experiment in danger, the Soul Squad might be okay with a surprise reset so they can start everything all over again.
