Something is about to explode on The Good Place. And we’re about to find out exactly what.
Will it be the real Michael or Janet? Or a demon posing as one of them? Or someone completely different? Your guess is as good as mine, but I’m sure you can’t wait to find out what happens next.

Yep, that’s a solid synopsis for The Good Place, very vague and usually spelling doom for our characters. Anything can go wrong, especially when Eleanor feels like she has a grasp on things!
One thing we can confirm: The return of Shawn! The last time we saw him was in the season premiere, as the Judge threatened him regarding interfering in the experiment again. Marc Evan Jackson is always a wonderful addition to the crew, so I’m excited for him to show back up.
But his arrival usually doesn’t bode well for Eleanor or Michael. And I doubt that changes in this episode.
We’re also still under the assumption that this entire fourth season will be nothing but this new experiment to save humanity. And it’s very possible that they throw the whole experiment out the window in the next few episodes, because that’s what The Good Place likes to do.
We’re just along for the ride. All of the emotional bumps and bruises are just events along the way.
