Julia Garner’s Cong Tri gown

Julia Garner won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance on Ozark, a shocking development given the four Game of Thrones stars (Lena Headey, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, and Gwendoline Christie) and Killing Eve star (Fiona Shaw) also nominated for the honor.

And Julia Garner looked stunning the entire evening, donning a purple Cong Tri gown with a single sleeve and a slightly trailing bottom. The color and unique design of the dress certainly helped the actress stand out — as though she needed more of a reason to do so after coming out on top of such a talented group of nominees.

Garner’s Giuseppe Zanotti heels and Lisa Eisner jewelry — along with her stunning updo and fierce makeup — completed her look, and we can say with confidence that the actress wouldn’t be mistaken in a crowd whilst sporting this outfit. Garner chose to go with the bold and loud look, and it really, really worked for her. It’s a far cry from what her character on Ozark typically wears, but it works. And we love seeing her in a different getup.
