The trial is far from ever over on Big Little Lies, but this week is going to have Mary Louise answer all of Celeste’s questions. What could possibly go wrong?
On last week’s episode of Big Little Lies, Celeste took to the stand to defend herself against Mary Louise. The mother of Perry Wright was determined to take Celeste’s children from her, and the judge didn’t seem too keen on letting that happen. But that doesn’t mean that Celeste doesn’t have a fight ahead of her. So this week, she’s going to be putting Mary Louise on the stand to get some answers.
The problem with Big Little Lies is that it seems as if everyone in Monterey has their eyes on the Monterey Five. Wherever they turn, someone is trying to figure out what they did that night when Perry died. And it doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon.
But at least we know that no one really knows what is going on in their lives. From Jane trying to figure out her relationship to Madeline and Ed having issues, even the basic day to day lives of the women are being thrown into turmoil — and that’s on top of everyone still questioning their motives. Celeste may lose her children, and Renata may be losing her family through bankruptcy, and none of that is even the worst thing going on.
So many questions need to be answered. And maybe when Mary Louise finally gives Celeste some answers, we’ll start to learn why she is really there and what happened with her children when they were younger.
What’s going to happen when Mary Louise takes the stand? We’ll have to wait and see what happens on this week’s episode!
