The 100: Is there an episode this week?

Fans of The 100 are eager to find out where the brewing conflict between Skaikru and the Primes is headed, but sadly, they’ll have to wait until next week for those answers.

With Josephine masquerading around Sanctum as Clarke and Bellamy paralyzed and taken captive, fans of The 100 are eager to find out where the brewing conflict between Skaikru and the Primes goes during the next episode. Unfortunately, they won’t be getting any answers this week.

It’s a strange time to take a week off, given that there aren’t any major holidays on the calendar — and besides, the show aired on Memorial Day Weekend, so why should it matter if there were? Still, The CW does occasionally have its series take a week off. Perhaps it’s afraid fans need a respite from all the intensity of season 6.

Whatever the network’s reasoning, even showrunner Jason Rothenberg Tweeted after last week’s episode, stating, “That’s it for 2 weeks West Coast. We’re off next week. Don’t ask me why. I hate it as much as you.” It’s good to know we aren’t alone in the struggle of waiting.

In the meantime, though, there’s plenty of theorizing fans can do in regard to what’s coming. The preview for the next episode, “Memento Mori,” shows an intense conversation between Clarke and Abby, as well as more of what’s going on beyond Sanctum’s boundaries.

It looks like Skaikru will be forced to choose between their humanity and survival once more during “Memento Mori” — with Josephine egging them on, of course. This may be the one time Skaikru is hesitant to shoot first, but it also might be necessary for Clarke’s and Bellamy’s survival. Whatever awaits fans next week, the stakes are pretty high for our heroes.

The 100 airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
