Nintendo Switch Online announced its May 2019 offerings for members. So what NES games can you download for free starting May 15? Let’s find out!

Nintendo Switch Online members, are you ready for even more NES games this month? I mean, the offerings never falter from NES — not yet, at least.

What was announced for May?

Below is the official announcement from Nintendo:

Is this the month you finally cave and buy that Nintendo Switch Online membership? That depends on how you feel about the three games for May.

Donkey Kong Jr. is probably the biggest name out of the three offerings. The sequel to the original Donkey Kong, you try to save Donkey Kong as you make your way through four different worlds. That Mario was never up to any good anyway… It’s still just as fun to play now as it was back in the day, albeit maybe a little more infuriating.

VS. Excitebike will give you your adrenaline rush, especially if you love high stakes and sweet jump tricks. Create tracks from 20 classic Excitebike track parts and play in time trial mode to take on your best time or play with a friend.

Plus you can save your high score! Remember when you used to have to take photos of your TV screen? Or, in my case, write it down on a sheet of paper you shoved in the gaming cabinet, dated and signed?

Last but not least, we have Clu Clu Land. Find all of the stolen gold bars in each of the twenty mazes and return them to Clu Clu Land. It’s pretty straightforward. You may recognize the main character, Bubbles, as a character from Super Smash Bros. Melee. Plus the uniras are items in both the Brawl and Wii-U versions.

All three titles will be available to download for Switch Online members starting on May 15. Don’t forget that April’s Switch Online offerings are still available to download through May 14.

There are also only so many NES games you can offer before you run out of options. How long until Nintendo begins to offer SNES or N64 games?

Perhaps by the end of the year we will start seeing new monthly offers for Super Mario Bros. 3 or Mario Kart 64.
