At most universities, “Dead Week” is something to look forward to. In the Pretty Little Liars Universe, it feels a bit more ominous.
Getting hit by a car is rough, by any standard. But at BHU, it’s apparently not enough of an excuse to take some time off from being perfect.
This week on Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, Caitlin is out of the hospital, and mostly back to her old self. And, now that she knows it wasn’t Mason who killed Nolan or ran her down, she can get back to heating things up with her future doctor beau.
Here’s what everyone’s up to, according to Freeform’s official synopsis of the episode:
"During BHU’s Dead Week, Caitlin tries to get her academic life in order, as well as elevate her relationship with Jeremy. Ava reluctantly teams up with Zach on a school assignment and Dylan’s nerve damage impacts an important music project. Ali continues to make inroads with Taylor, while Mona investigates who left her a mysterious message."
Apparently, Zach won’t just be a one-off character. Then again, few characters in the world of PLL usually are.
The question is, how does he fit into the whole picture? It seems unlikely that he’s the person that’s been taunting the perfectionists, considering his only bone to pick is with Ava (as far as we know).
But forcing him and Ava together on a project will likely force her to really deal with the fallout of her father’s actions. Will it be enough to make her turn her father into Booker? Probably not. But never say never.
Dana Booker is notably missing from this week’s synopsis though. Given that she’s currently suspect number one for the perfectionists’ tormenter, one might think she’d be up to something even more nefarious this week.
Of course, she very well could be. We still don’t know who Mona’s playing chess against, and this week she gets a “mysterious message.” There’s no way Dana Booker isn’t involved somehow.
