Fantastic Beasts 3: Johnny Depp spotted filming

Johnny Depp has reportedly been spotted filming the next installment of the Wizarding World franchise, Fantastic Beasts 3.
A report has emerged that Johnny Depp has begun filming Fantastic Beasts 3. The actor, who plays the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwlad in the Wizarding World franchise, was spotted in the English village of Lacock.
This report came via the Swindon Advertiser, a local newspaper.

The report details how Johnny Depp was spotted in and around the Lacock Abbey area and that he was in the area to film Fantastic Beasts 3. Other than that, there isn’t a whole lot of detail to accompany the report, such as who else from the franchise he was with, what the scene might have been, etc. There are also no pictures of Depp on set to accompany the report.
Wizarding World fans might be wondering if this is a genuine sighting of the actor or not. Considering production of Fantastic Beasts 3 was officially pushed back by Warner Bros. Studios to the Fall of 2019.

As far as we are aware, no changes to the filming schedule have been made. Production is still set to begin in the Fall of 2019.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that the report has made a mistake or anything. It could be some pre-production work going on; Depp could be filming a scene for another movie not connected to Fantastic Beasts 3 as well.
There is a world of potential possibilities going on here.
