Black and white Safiyaa

For The Royal Variety Performance in November, the Duchess of Sussex joined her husband for what some called a date night outing, wearing a black and white ensemble that was chic perfection. From the hint of her black shoes that we saw when she was walking to her shimmery, two-tone, black and gold box clutch, every detail of this look was pure perfection.

The look in question is a two-piece maxi skirt and halter top combination, with both pieces coming from London-based designer Safiyaa, a designer the duchess was first spotted wearing while in Fiji for her first royal tour. This halter-style top once again showed off the shoulders and collarbone style that we have seen so many times, and featured a floral design in sequins.

And with her hair pulled up and back with loose tendrils at the front, Meghan looked elegant and refined while still having an air of comfort to her look. Of course, one of the big things we were all looking for with this outfit was a hint of baby bump, and while there were certainly some angles that gave us a hint of the bump, for the most part, we think this look was its own story.
