Yellow sleeveless midi dress

If you have been waiting to see a true pop of color show up on this list, we are sorry to have kept you waiting. But, we hope you love this yellow sleeveless midi dress as much as we do.

For the Your Commonwealth Youth Challenge reception in July, the Duchess of Sussex went with this brilliant yellow Brandon Maxwell midi dress. The dress is a crepe sheath that features a boatneck for clean lines. And while the front offered no hint of drama, in the back, there was a slit that went up past the knees for a hint of leg.

She paired the dress with a pair of nude heels and went without a handbag or clutch. And in terms of jewelry, the duchess truly kept it simple with tiny stud earrings and just her ring.

We admit that what we love about this dress is two-fold. First, we love the fact that it is very simple without any adornment to detract from the pop of color. And second, we love the fact that this dress is a summery shade of yellow that really is like a burst of sunshine.

Overall, we love that this look was so simple because it allowed the pop of color to speak for itself.
