When it comes to Meghan Markle’s wardrobe, there are always those who find fault with what she wears (just look at all the articles about breaking royal protocols that are written). And one of the biggest criticisms seems to be the way certain outfits fit the duchess. During her trip to Ireland, one outfit in particular seemed to get the critics buzzing, her Roland Mouret dress.

As Footwear News writes, many of her fashion critics pointed out the fit of the dress as being the biggest problem. And while we see where they are coming from, we still love this dress.

The Roland Mouret dress was made out of a wool crepe, and featured a bateau neckline (which is of course a signature look for the duchess), a midi length, and a lovely ruffle down the front of the skirt. The duchess then paired the look with black Paul Andrew heels in a canvas, which offered the look just the right touch of understated elegance.

And with her hair pulled up in a sleek bun, we were able to see the diamond earrings that the duchess chose for her look, which also happened to be the only piece of jewelry (besides her ring) that we could see. Although some people may not have liked this look, we actually do, and believe it once more shows off her ability to try new things, while still keeping things regal.
