Black Givenchy pantsuit

While visiting Ireland in July, Meghan Markle chose a number of lovely outfits, but her last choice is definitely one of our favorites from the trip. For her visit with Prince Harry to Croke Park and the Famine Memorial, the Duchess of Sussex chose a black Givenchy pantsuit.

The pantsuit proved that the duchess has no problem going from the dresses we expect from the ladies of the royal family, to chic outfits that are definitely business appropriate, but still royally perfect. And as Insider explained, while this is not the first pantsuit that the Duchess has worn, this one from Givenchy featured a more “tailored silhouette” than some of her other pantsuits.

To go along with the look, the duchess paired her pantsuit with black pumps and a simple black clutch for a look that was pulled together and professional while still giving her a royal air. The finishing touch of the look was the duchess’ ring, which was the only piece of jewelry that she wore with the outfit.

And of course, we love the fact that she wore her hair down in loose waves, because it added the softness that this outfit needed. Simply put, this pantsuit was an excellent choice and allowed the duchess to shine without having to wear a dress.
